IT Workshops Guidelines

Eligibility:

IT Workshops are available to all members of the University community at no charge.

Workshop Prerequisites:

Each workshop description includes the necessary previous experience for attendees and if a UB IT name is required. There are no provisions made in workshops to assist attendees who do not have the prerequisite skills. Your UB IT Name can be displayed at any UB Card Swipe Station located at most Public Computing Areas.

Workshop Locations:

Refer to the confirmation letter you will receive prior to the workshop for the exact location of each workshop. Workshops are generally scheduled on the Spine on the North Campus and in the Health Sciences Library on the South Campus.

Registration:

Review the courses in the on-line catalog (see below) and click on a workshop title to read its description. Click on the Register button to display the available dates and times. Select an open date and click on the submit button. This process requests registration. You are actually registered when you receive confirmation that you are.

Cancellations:

If you need to cancel your workshop registration, please send email to the workshop staff it-workshops@buffalo.edu or call 645-3540.

If a workshop sponsor cancels a workshop, we will attempt to notify you by phone or email.

Snow Policy:

If UB classes are cancelled, IT workshops will also be cancelled.
