Central email services are provided under the guidelines as stated in UB
Computer and Network Usage Policy and available to all affiliated members of
the University at Buffalo.
To access the central email services, you need to have a UB IT Name and

UB IT Names are applicable to email accounts.

activate the account to receive email by visiting the web site
http://www.cit.buffalo.edu/mail.
All email users have the responsibility to use the University's services
in an effective, efficient, ethical and legal manner as described in UB

Each email account is allocated initially with 150 MB of disk quota on the central mail server. You may request to increase your email disk quota, see User Disk Quota Policy.
Email alias service is available to departments and organizations, see Email Alias Policy.
Listserv service is available to any affiliated member who would like to setup a discussion list that would benefit the university community. Please visit
LISTSERV site for more information.
